In support of Governor Mills’ COVID-19 protocols, the Select Board has adopted a policy to practice social distancing when possible and now requires face coverings to be worn in all town buildings. The Town has been awarded funds from the Keep ME Healthy grant program, that will pay 100% for all proposed items submitted to help improve the safety of town operations for elected staff, subcontractors, and residents. Fire Chief John York has been appointed the Compliance Officer under the terms of the grant and will be available at 382-3077 for COVID-19 related questions and concerns about issues of non-compliance. The grant required the Board to appoint this position.

Select Board meetings will be held online via Zoom until further notice. If you want to participate, you will need to do two things:

create a (free) Zoom account, and
send an email to montville@fairpoint.net by 1 PM on Monday so you can be sent a link for that evening's Board Meeting.
