Community Resilience Committee
The Town of Montville’s Community Resilience Committee, with assistance from Midcoast Council of Governments, is working to enroll Montville in Maine’s Community Resilience Partnership, which assists communities to reduce carbon emissions, transition to clean energy, and become more resilient to climate change effects such as extreme weather, flooding, rising sea levels, public health impacts, and more.
Work - To - Date
-Mailed out a town wide survey January 2024 asking residents about their opinions on town priorities related to community resilience
-Held a community resilience workshop February 10, 2024 at the Grange to discuss the results of the survey and further identify town needs and concerns
