2025 Commitment Books
Two versions of the 2025 Montville Tax Commitment book are available; one is alphabetized by last name of land owner, and the second is by map and lot. Feel free to call the office on Mondays from 10-7 or Wednesdays from 7-12 with any questions!
Tax Year Information

Montville's Tax Year runs from January 1st to December 31st.

Our Mil Rate for 2025 is 18.04

Commitment happens in July each year.

In order to receive a 3% discount for this year, full balance due must be paid by July 31st, 2025.

Taxes are due August 1st (first half), and November 1st (2nd half).

6% interest starts accruing on unpaid taxes September 30th, 2025 (for 1st half), and December 31st, 2025 (for remaining balance)
